Since the middle of the last century, many notable stone statues have been unearthed at some Neolithic sites in the Three Gorges region of the Yangtze River. They are either round sculpture or relief sculpture, which can be regarded as the best sculpture works of primitive times.Their vivid shape and exquisite skills are comparable to and even transcend the fine works of art at home and abroad at the same time.Their rich expression connotation and profound implication are also amazing. The discussion is closely related to the high development of local witch culture and the production and life of primitive ancestors' society. The long history of human civilization and the early maturity of primitive art in the Neolithic Age in the Yangtze River Basin of China can also be confirmed by this.
