Prospects of Promotion and Application of Straw-frozen Semen Technology of Sheep

本文介绍了绵羊细管冻精的优点与应用现状,认为有必要重新审视绵羊细管冻精所具有的独特产品优势,及对绵羊特别是肉羊的品种改良与优质羊肉生产将产生的积极作用,建议在全疆范围内推广应用绵羊细管冻精技术,并就该技术在推广应用中可能面临的主要问题提出了解决方法。

In this paper, the advantages and application status of straw-frozen semen technology of sheep were introduced, and it was believed that the unique product advantages of the technology needed to be re-examined, as well as the positive effects in high-quality mutton production and breed improvement of sheep,especially the meat sheep. Hence, large-scale promotion and application of the technology in Xinjiang was suggested,and relevant countermeasures were also put forward aiming at main problems which may be encountered during the promotion and application.
