目录学视域下的地域总集范畴辨析

Discrimination of the Category of Regional Collection under the View of Bibliography

地域总集自晚明起,在书目中成为总集类下的一个专门类目,但迄今为止,其范畴仍未获得确切厘定,从而导致现有书目著录它时,每每体例不一甚至混淆错乱.文章认为地域总集是明确着眼于一片区域而采收作者作品的总集,是基于地缘属性而成立的典籍类型.只有地缘属性在总集属性结构中占据首要位置,才能归之于地域总集.至于区域概念本身,一则它必须是人类社群成规模地开展生产生活的一片区域,是地缘划分与认同的基础;再则包括各级行政区域与自然地理地域两大类型.但不论是哪一类型,都必须符合我们对地缘单位的实际认知,否则不应纳入地域总集的范畴.

Since the late Ming Dynasty, the regional collection has become a special category under the general collection in bibliography. However, the category of regional collection still has not been determined exactly so far, which leads to different styles, or even confusion and insanity in cataloging. The paper holds that the regional collection is the collection of the author’s works with a clear focus on a region, and also a type of classic books based on geographical attributes. Only when geographical attributes occupies the primary position in the attribute structure of the general collection can it be attributed to the regional collection. As for the concept of "region", firstly, it must be a region where human communities carry out production and life on a scale, and is the basis of geographical division and identity. Second, it should include administrative areas at all levels and natural geographical areas. Conclusively, no matter which type it is, it must conform to our actual cognition of geographical units, otherwise it should not be included in the category of regional collection.
