Objective: To evaluate the effect of CT perfusion plus blood-brain barrier marker protein on neuronal injury in patients with toxic shock. Methods: 60 patients with toxic shock in and 30 healthy people were selected as objects. The patients with toxic shock were divided into mild and severe group. The clinical indexes in the three groups were observed. Results: The relative indexes of CT perfusion in the severe group were significantly higher than the other two groups, and those in the mild group were significantly higher than the control group. The expression level of the related indexes of tight junction protein in the severe group was significantly lower than the other two groups except the NSE index. The level of NSE in mild group was significantly lower than the control group. There were significant differences in CT perfusion parameters and tight junction protein expression among the three groups (P<0.05). Conclusion: Most of the patients with toxic shock are accompanied by nerve injury, and it is important to make clear the changes of clinical indexes in the diagnosis and treatment of the disease. CT perfusion combined with blood-brain barrier marker protein can provide a reliable early predictor for the occurrence and development of neuronal injury in patients with toxic shock and provide a new target for diagnosis and treatment.
