Sini powder (四逆散) is the basic prescription for harmonizing liver-spleen as well as the originator of liver-smoothing prescription, which has been extensively applied in various clinical departments. This paper introduces the experience of Professor Ge Wenjin of applying Sini powder in treating gastrointestinal disease based on the pathogenesis prescription characteristics of Sini powder as well as the pathogenesis foundation of Sini powder in treating gastrointestinal disease, in combination with the clinical cases and medication.
