Objective: To explore the effect of TCM nursing clinical pathway on relieving limb swelling time and preventing complications in patients with distal radius fracture. Methods: 98 cases of patients with distal radius fracture who were treated in our hospital from May 2016 to May 2018 were selected as the research subjects. Through different nursing modes, they were divided into 48 cases in the experimental group and 50 cases in the control group. The control group received conventional nursing, the experimental group received traditional Chinese medicine clinical pathway nursing. The edema regression time and complication rate of the two groups were compared. Results: The length of hospital stay and swelling regression time of patients in the experimental group were shorter than those in the control group, and the hospitalization cost was less than that in the control group, which was with statistically significant differences (P < 0.05). The incidence of complications in the experimental group was 8.33%, which was lower than that in the control group (26.00%), and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The total effective rate of the experimental group was 97.92%, which was higher than that of the control group (84.00%), and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: TCM clinical pathway nursing was helpful to alleviate the swelling time of the affected limb in patients with distal radius fracture and reduce the incidence of complications.
