史诗英雄的产生需要特定的传统、特定的时代,乃至特定地域的支撑,不同的传统、时代、地域培育出不同的史诗英雄。史诗英雄有着非凡的力量、出身高贵、强烈的荣誉感及英雄主义等显而易见的共性,而他们各自所属民族和时代的集体意志、精神气质、理想愿望和道德习俗等又决定了他们的个性。

Epic heroes of the generation require the support of specific traditions, times, and even regions. Different traditions ,times, and regions have fostered different epic heroes. Epic heroes have some obvious commonalities of extraordinary strength, noble origin, strong sense of honor and heroism;their special spiritual temperament, ideal aspirations, moral customs, respective nationality and times determine their own personality.
