北伐前后地方军阀的生存状态——以豫西镇嵩军为例

镇嵩军是河南近代史上一支不可忽视的地方武装。北伐前后,镇嵩军先后依附于吴佩孚、阎锡山、冯玉祥。为抢夺地盘,镇嵩军与国民军发生胡憨战争、西安之战。吴佩孚与冯玉祥先后对镇嵩军施以改造,使之成为正规化部队。北伐军兴,面对生存问题,镇嵩军不得不依附于冯玉祥,参加北伐战争。镇嵩军的政治投机活动,始终是出于政治生存与总体利益需要,并无政治信仰可言。在国民党新军阀中原大战时期,刘镇华弃冯投蒋,使镇嵩军得以保存实力。

Zhensong Army is a local armed force that can not be ignored in the modern history of Henan Province.
