Ambivalence: The Defining Feature of Qin Guan’s Poetry

矛盾是秦观"词心"的独特内蕴,少游的"词心"与独特词境结合在一起,是深沉真挚之情的委婉表露。秦观身上的诸多矛盾使其"词心"具有沉稳、凄婉和细腻的特点,矛盾是秦观"词心"的独特内蕴。这些矛盾是:词人对待身世的矛盾心情,词人对待女性及自然万物的矛盾态度,词人内心世界的矛盾追求。

In order to help people better appreciate the delicacy and grace of Qin Guan’s poetry and understand the beauty of his poetic sentiments, this paper, based on the existing research, analyzes the poet’s life experience and delves into the imagery, the artistic conception and the significance of his poetry. It is found that many of Qin Guan’s ambivalent views are subtly reflected in his artistic creation. Such ambivalence, detectable in his attitudes to women, nature and his own life as well as in his dreams and aspirations, becomes the defining feature of his poetry and makes it sedate, sad and delicate.
