从烟台市区出发,沿滨海路一直向东30公里,就到了被称为中国“马尔代夫”的著名“网红岛”——养马岛。养马岛位于牟平区北部,地处黄海之中,总面积约10平方公里。岛上丘陵起伏,草木葱茏,山光海色,秀丽如画。养马岛,古称“莒岛”养马岛,古称“莒岛”。从“莒岛”到“养马岛”,这座海岛经历了怎样的变迁?

Yangma (Horse-rearing) Island is situated in the Yellow Sea in the north of Muping District covering a gross area of about 10 square kilometers. The island enjoys undulating hills and green plants and trees. The scenery of mountains and the sea make a beautiful picture. Yangma Island was called Ju Island before the Ming Dynasty. The name of Yangma Island first appeared in the Annals of Ninghai Prefecture in the reign of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty.
