摘要
物理网络拓扑从第二层反映出交换机之间的连接关系,它在网络管理系统中具有重要的地位。文章通过对交换机端口流量的分析,提出在交换式以太网中利用端口流量进行物理网络拓扑发现的方法,即端口流量法。该方法适用于多数交换式以太网环境,在实验环境中较好地发现物理网络拓扑。
Discovering physical network topology is an important function of network management system because it de-picts links between switches at layer2.This paper develops a new method to discover physical network topology by ana-lyzing the amount of octets passing through switch ports.This method can be used widely,especially in Ethernet.
