The new types of Bio Mass Spectrometry (Bio MS) techniques mainly researched in recent years have been introduced, and the last research developments of these techniques in the proteome research have been reviewed. The characteristics of these techniques have been compared, and their applications and prospects in the proteome research have been evaluated briefly.
