摘要
高等教育规模日益扩大,英语教学的质量面临着挑战。从情感智商(简称EQ)的角度分析,提出EQ理论在强调人的综合素质方面与很多外语教学理论相一致,把EQ理论引入英语教学实践对提高英语教学质量具有现实意义。同时,教师的EQ也是提高英语教学质量的一个关键因素。在英语教学中,EQ教育可以促进认知教育。
The size of the higher education in our country is increasing so quickly that the quality of ELT isconfronted with new challenges. By discussing EQ theory, this paper presents that the theory coincides with someFLT theories in focusing on an individual's quality. So it is significant to apply EQ theory in ELT in reality. Ateacher's EQ is a key factor in improving ELT quality. In ELT, EQ education can promote cognition education.
