Since China's further social reform, lots of changes have taken place in the field of ELT (English Language Teaching) due to the participation of foreign teachers who have brought into China with them varieties of English and their cultures. Human beings are cultural organisms. Foreign cultures and the Chinese culture are clashing with each other and fitting in with each other as felt in the ELT in China. However, it is the conflicts that push forward the ELT. One thing about it is very clear that foreign teachers and the Chinese teachers have to cooperate properly for the display of their merits in the ELT. Therefore, the necessity and rationality of the cooperation are something for us to bear in mind. And during the cooperation, something else can never be ignored.
