Progress of the Deep Seismic Sounding by Artificial Earthquakes in Japan

介绍了 2 0世纪 80年代以来日本开展人工地震探测研究的进展 ,以及在研究大地构造、地壳深部结构、地球动力学、深浅构造关系、大震震源区细结构等方面取得的重要成果。

The Progress of the researches on the deep seismic sounding by artificial earthquakes in Japan since 1980's is described in this paper.The significant achievements in researches on tectonic structure,deep crustal tectonics,geodynamical process,the relationship between the deep tectonics and shallow tectonics,fine structure in source regions of great earthquakes are outlined as well.
