Official Career and Change of Sushi's Thoughts

纵观苏轼的一生 ,在由得意到失意的仕途变化中 ,他的思想也随之在改变。他从小接受的是儒家传统思想的影响 ,开始以积极进取的精神步入仕途 ,当遭受打击后 ,借助于佛老思想作为其精神支柱 ,最终集儒道择三家思想于一身 ,形成了他身处逆境而能旷达乐观、随遇而安的人生态度。

Sushi, an official in Song dynasty, who has experienced not only the achievement of his ambitions but tasted the bitterness of frustrations, gave up his pre formed belief-- Confucianism which was instilled into him from his childhood. He took an official career with enterprising spirit. However, attacked by dangerous official world, he resorted to Buddhism, Taoism to seek moral comfort. Consequently, he assimilated the nutrition of three schools of thought, finally shaped his own philosophy of life which exerts great influence on the later ages.
