心灵的告白与忏悔——论“五四”自剖文学的别样形态

The Confession and Repentance of the Heart——On the Other Form of the Self-dissecting Literature of the May Fourth Movement

“五四”新文学重要形态之一的“自剖”文学 ,是中国“五四”新文化运动特定历史时期的产物。在郁达夫式的创作之外 ,另有一批“五四”作家具有相当的自剖文学创作份量 ,且带有鲜明的风格差异 ,坦露自己时或采取女性作家所惯有的委婉曲折的心理描写 ,既不涉及“恶德丑行” ,也没有一般社会尚能相容的道德欠缺 ;或采取一种深刻的心灵忏悔与告白 ,但不涉及个人的私生活领域 ,把作品限定在一般社会道德所允许的范畴。

Self dissecting' literature, one of the important forms of the new literature of the May Fourth Movement, is the product of the particular historical stage of the 'May Fourth' new cultural movement in China. Apart from the Yu Dafu type creations, there was another group of writers with the element of self-dissecting creation and striking difference in the style of writing. While exposing themselves, they adopted female writers' habitual crooked way of depicting the psychology, neither involving wicked morality and scandalous behaviour nor including moral defects that could still be tolerated by society. Or they made profound repentances or confessions involving no private life of individuals and limiting their writings to the scope that could be permitted by general social morality. We call the creations of this group of writers the other form of the self dissecting literature.
