为了适应市场经济的发展和我国加入WTO的要求 ,近一步提升和发挥行业协会的作用已成为完善市场机制 ,应对加入WTO的历史要求。行业协会要为提升行业的国际竞争力服务 ,是发展中国家在国际市场竞争中的特殊任务。在加入WTO的新形势下 ,提升和发挥行业协会作用日益重要 ,行业协会也应承担起应对WTO挑战的使命。

To address the needs of developing the market economy and China's entering the WTO, further upgrading and playing the trade guild's role has become the historical demand in consummating the market mechanism and dealing with business after the access to WTO. Upgrading the international competitiveness is the special task of the trade guild's for the developing countries. In the new situation after China's entering the WTO, the role of the trade guild has become increasingly important, so it should undertake the commission of handling the challenges from the WTO.
