On the Building of Pedestrian Mall with Chinese Characteristics

本文简要分析了西方步行商业街发展历程及我国步行商业街建设中面临的问题 ,提出中国在步行商业街建设中应借鉴西方现代步行商业街的发展经验 。

After a brief introduction to the development of pedestrian malls in the West and the problems in the pedestrian mall construction in China, the author proposes that China should learn from the experiences of the West in the development of pedestrian malls and search for her own course of developing pedestrian malls with Chinese characteristics.
