摘要
本文列举了大学生英语词汇习得存在的问题 ,分析了这些问题产生的根源 ,指出教学大纲词汇表要求低是导致词汇数量不足的一个重要原因 ,学习方法偏差以及语言迁移分别是产生词汇意义残缺和拼写错误的主要因素。克服英语词汇习得的问题要从两方面入手 。
This paper analyzes the fundamental reasons which lead to some of the most serious problems widely existing in college students' vocabulary acquisition.It argues that the low demand of the vocabulary curriculum is mainly responsible for the inadequacy in vocabulary quantity while the adoption of improper acquisition methods and the negative transfer of language ability are the major causes of fragmentary word meanings and spelling mistakes.It maintains,through analysis,that two cuntermeasures should be taken if the problems are to be solved.They are the increase in the vocabulary quantity in the curriculum and the improvement of the teaching methods.
