This paper introduces a research achievement of value engineering in packag-ing field. It creatively applies the 'Secondary Value Analysis' technique to thepurchase of corrugated paperboard production line by means of gradation in succe-ssion and obtains significantly economic and social benefits, which has great exte-nsion value in the professions.
