The causes behind hydrocracking catalyst deactivation problem with the hydrocracking unit at Refinery of PetroChina Jilin Chemical Co., Ltd. were discussed. Countermeasures were taken to re activate the catalyst . Activity of the catalyst was gradually recovered as the result.
