The developmental durations of different stages of Oligonychus perditus were studied under constant temperatures.The developmental temperature and effective thermal summation of different developmental stages and one generation of O. perditus were calculated.Based on the effective thermal principle, 11 generations may occur in Mt.Taishan, Shandong Province.
