摘要
“意象”是中国美学的重要范畴。它不是指视听、感知具体形象,而是指通过心灵去直觉、去感悟万象背后更深微的存在。意象说溯源于老庄哲学和《易经》,开拓了两千多年来中华审美活动超越再现和模拟、追求生命和宇宙的高远境界的路线和传统。
Imagery is an important category in Chinese aesthetics. It does not refer to the perception of im-ages through specific audiovisual means, but rather the intuitive insight into, or the comprehension of, the existence of the more profound and delicate behind all the superficial phenomena. The imagery theory traces back to the phi-losophy of Lao Zi and Zhuang Zi and The Book of Changes. It opens up a line and tradition in China' s aesthetic practice for the past 2000 - odd years of pursuing an advanced life and sublime ideal of the universe, transcending mere representation and imitation.
