社区传统的近代命运——以苏州“穹窿老会”为对象的例案研究

The Destiny of Community Traditions-A Case Study about the “Qionglong Old Community” in Suzhou

怎样对待社区传统是一个具有世界意义的社会课题;萌生于先秦时期的中国传统庙会,延传至近代,在新的时代逻辑之下的命运如何,是探讨这一社会课题的有利契入点。本文以较早踏上近代之路的江南乡村庙会为例案,在人类学、社会学和历史学共同选取的“社区观察”视野中,通过揭示地方社区与外部世界冲突过程中,各种社会力量之间的互动关系,客观认识社区传统的历史存在价值和其背后的社会结构支撑,以期对上述课题的深入研究有所助益。

How to deal with the community traditions is a social subject all over the world. The destiny of Chinese traditional temple fair, which emerged in the pre-Qin period, exists to modern time, is a good starting point. Taking the rural temple fair in Jiangna as a case, the article revels historical valure of the community traditions and the social supportive structure behind it, through analyzing the conflict between the regional community and outside, the relations among various social forces.
