Increasing Transportation Capacity and Improving Luggage Parcel Traffic

本文对我国铁路行包运输的现状和存在问题进行了分析和研究,提出在较大的客运站上修建或改建行包装卸场和行包装卸线。现阶段则采用在旅客列车上加挂1～2节整车行包的方案。文中论述了该方案的必要性、优越性和可行性。

Analysis and research of luggage/Parcel traffic in the Chinease railway are given in this paper. It is suggested that a luggage/Parcel yard and a luggage/ Parcel track be built in a big passenger station in the future, and from now on, either a luggage/Parcel van or two should be attached to a passenger train. The necessity, the advantages and the possibility of the proposal are also discussed in this paper.
