Measurement of the argon plasma temperature by use of pyrometer

In this paper, the author deseribes in detail how to use pyrometer to measure the plasma temperature. The temperatures of shock generated argon plasmas are given in the present work. Measured results of temperature pressure curve are compared with calculated results using Saha Debye Huckel model, which are in good agreement.
