In the recent centuries, the colonial theme of Shakespeare's The Tempest has appeared to be an essential element in its production, performance and criticism. The cognition of the colonialism in The Tempest stemmed from a moral obligation and became deepened in the satire on Caliban in Shakespeare's world.
