隐喻与语境

隐喻是人类认知和经验世界的基础 ,是人类的一种思维方式。隐喻的成因与诸多因素有关 ,但对于隐喻的理解 ,语境因素起了关键的作用。本文在阐明隐喻的本质及其语义特征的基础上 ,从语言、情景、文化、主观因素等几个方面探讨语境对隐喻的理解所发挥的功能。

Human cognition and experience of the world is fundamentally metaphorical in nature. The creation of metaphor is attributed to a variety of factors, but the meaning of metaphor is largely decided in context. This paper,after unravelling the nature and semantic features of metaphor, mainly expounds the role of linguistic, situational, cultural and subjective contexts in the decoding of metaphor.
