大学生英语口语课交际策略教学的实验报告 被引量:181

An experiment on teaching of communication strategies to Chinese EFL learners,

摘要 策略能力是外语学习者交际能力的一个重要组成部分 ,本文报告了口语课交际策略教学对提高大学生交际策略能力的实验研究。研究结果显示 ,课堂口语交际策略强化教学可以增加学生使用策略的频度 ,提高英语学习者使用迂回叙述和填补停顿等口语策略的能力。口语策略教学对学生的口语流利度的提高产生一定作用 ,直接反映在停顿填补词策略上。流利度、准确性二参数与外语水平始终相关 ,但与其它策略参数无关。此外 ,停顿填补词策略与口语流利度始终显著相关 ,但定义单词准确性、迂回叙述策略在实验后与流利度未显相关性。 Strategic competence is an important part of EFL learners' communicative competence. This paper reports a quasi-experiment on the teaching of three communication strategies(CS) to 109 Chinese undergraduate students of English in the classroom. Research findings show that learners' use of some CSs increased through one-term focused class instruction. In addition, CS also contributes to the development of oral fluency to some extent. Our questionnaire survey finds that 75.5% of the students in experiment hold favorable attitudes toward CS training. Therefore, the teachability of specific communication strategies is validated.
