摘要
本文针对“归化”与“异化”的中外文渊源不明、界定不严及其同“直译”与“意译”区分不清等问题,进行了论证,并预测了“归化”与“异化”的发展趋势。
This paper discusses the notions of 'domestication' and 'foreignization' in terms of the problems relating to the origin and definition of the two terms in Chinese and English. Also discussed are the ways in which these two terms are often confused with the terms 'literal translation and 'free translation'. In addition, the author analyzes how, as theoretical concepts, the notions 'domestication' and 'foreignization' are likely to develop in future.
