Traditional English teaching stresses the importance of grammar.with the development of language teaching,cultural influences are paid more attention.Cultural differences affect all links in English language teaching, and cultural phenomena penetrate the understanding of word meaning and the analysis of grammatical and syntactical structures as well as mutual translation of English and Chinese. Learning cultural characters and cultural differences is to run through the whole course of English language teaching.
