摘要
本文介绍了热电效应的基本原理 ,阐述了热电材料在发电和制冷方面的应用前景 ,分析了可能具有较高ZT值的几个新概念 ,包括低维热电材料、氧化物热电材料。
Some fundamentals of thermoelectric materials are introduced in this paper.The application perspective of thermoelectric materials in power generation and cooling is surveyed.The new concepts have been under investigation that should allow a considerable improvement of ZT.These new ideas include the PEGC concept for bulk materials(PGEC phonon glass electron crystal)and the concept of reduced dimensionality for thin films and the oxides concept for thermoelectric.
