Research on Specifications of Soil Preparationfor Forestation and Grass Planting inXiji County on Loess Plateau

合理的整地规格应同时满足如下4个基本要求:①满足植物需水要求,②满足拦蓄坡面径流要求,③坡面利用率高,④工程量尽可能小,按照这一设计指导思想,我们对黄土高原丘陵区现行的隔坡反坡梯田和水平窄带田的坡面整地规格进行了设计,分别给出以刺槐、沙棘、沙打旺为代表的乔、灌、草3种植物的合理整地规格。

In forestation and grass planting in the arid hilly loess county of Xiji, proper specifications of soil preparation on slopes play a very important role in retaining surface runoff, supplying adequate water, accelerating the growth, of plants and increasing the yield of fuel wood. The following four basic requirements should be simultaneously satisfied. (1) adequate moisture. (2) the retention of surface runoff, (3) high utilization rate of slopes. (4) a reduction in the amount of earth work. To achieve this, we can design proper specifications for the existant alternation of terrace and slope and the horizontal narrow strip land. We worked them out for scrub, arbor and grass, which are represented respectively by Robinia pseudoacacia, Hippophae rhamnoides and Astragalus adsurgens.
