以传统儒学为核心，兼取佛道的大量哲学思想、思维形式和修持方法的宋代儒学，东渡日本、朝鲜后，以其开放兼容的品格与日本、韩国文化结合起来，形成了区别于中国儒学的日本儒学和韩国儒学。这种适合于其本国社会的新的儒家文化。

The Confucianism of the Song Dynasty(960-1279)takes the traditional confucianism as the core and it absorbs the philosophical thought,the thinking pattern and cultivating method of Buddhism.When introduced into Japan and Korea,the Song Dynasty culture has been combined with Japanese and Korean cultures and formed the Japanese and Korean Confucianisms which are different from Chinese Confucianism.The new forms of Confucianist culture,which are suitable to their society,positively influenced the development of Japanese and Korean modern civilizations.
