In general,Yi the Book of Changes stresses that“Yang”dominates and “Yin” subordinates.But it does not negate the important role of “Yin” in the emergence and development of things.The nature of “Yielding” in “Yin” is commended by the Book of Changes .Lao Zi succeeded and advocated the thought of stressing yielding of the Book of Changes .He proposed the ideology of “keeping yielding”,“maintaining feminine” and “keeping quiet”,thus advanced the political statement of “doing nothing”.
