期刊是传播最新知识的信息源 ,高校图书馆期刊工作的重点是信息交流 ,期刊的采购、分类、阅览、流通等工作都围绕这个重点进行。本文结合工作实际 ,就优化期刊管理和开发利用期刊文献资源 。

Periodicals are information resources of publicizing the latest knowledge. In institutes of higher learning, the importance of periodical service is the exchange of information, on which all other jobs such as purchase, classification, reading and circulation must centre. In the light of specific conditions, this thesis discusses about how to better use the resources of periodicals and promote the service to teaching and research.
