This paper discusses the process and defect form of the crack on the pressure-containing shell of cast-forged valve,analyzes the cause and mechanism of the crack on the cast-forged valve shell,and presents the process procedures and operation methods which should be paid attention to in order to prevent valve casting and forging from producing crack defects.
