独立学院商务英语口译课程教学改革——从“以专题为中心”到“技能加专题”的口译训练模式转变

On the Reform of Business English Interpretation Course at Independent Colleges:a Shift from “Theme-centric” to “Skills & Theme" Training Model

在激烈的市场竞争和就业压力下,很多独立学院英语专业开设了商务英语口译课程。本文分析了某独立学院商务英语口译课程教学中出现的问题,并比较了三种国内常用的口译训练模式,提出了适合独立学院学生实际水平的"技能加专题"的训练模式进行教学改革,并分析了教改的结果。

Due to fierce job market competition and severe pressure on employment, many independent colleges have set up Business English Interpretation Course for their English majors. This paper analyzes the problems occurred in such courses at one independent School and proposes a teaching model after a comparison of three commonly used interpreters training models,that is "Skills & Theme" Training Model. This paper also studies the teaching reform conducted by the teachers at that college and evaluates the reform results.
