摘要
本文探讨了动机的复杂性和动机对语言学习的影响。通过分析认为,单一的动机理论研究及应用具有一定的局限性。而横向的动机变量研究能够为了解动机,指导语言教学提供多维度的参考。在此基础上本文结合国外文献资料,分别从变量与动机的关系、变量对语言学习的影响、如何通过干预变量来激发语言学习动机等方面对兴趣、目标、自我效能三个动机变量进行了剖析。此外,上述动机变量的分析研究也提供了能够有效激发学生语言学习动机的教学提示。
This paper examines the complexity feature of motivation, and then discusses the impact of motivation on language learning. According to the analysis, it is believed that the study and application of a single type of motivation theory has some certain limitations. And it is worth noticing that the horizontal study of motivational variables is able to provide us with a multidimensional guidance for understanding the term motivation and guiding language teaching. Based on what has been discussed before,this paper includes various relevant foreign literature review,and then analyzes three important motivation variables,interest,goal and self-efficacy respectively. What's more,the analysis of motivation variables is basically from three different aspects:the relationship between motivation variables and motivation,the influence of motivation variables on language learning, and how to stimulate language learning motivation through intervening motivation variables. In addition,the previous study and analysis of motivational variables also offers several teaching hints that can effectively stimulate students' language learning motivation.
