摘要
引言: 自从Goldberger及Treiman等考虑到費米相互作用中的重正化效应并改进了Feynman及Gell-Mann;Sudarshan及Marshak所提出的普适V—A型相互作用以来,在β衰变的实验中已得到支持。因而进一步利用改进了的普适型费米相互作用来分析μ^-介子被原子核的俘获的过程。
The rate of μ^- capture by O^(16) is calculated on the base of effective Hamiltonian given by A. Fujii and H. Primakoff, by means of the method proposed by J. A. Kennedy. Results of calculation under various conditions are discussed. It is found that the theoretical value fairly agrees, within the over-all theoretical and experimental uncertainties, with the experimental value.
