在本世纪 ,我国将步入老年型国家的行列。我国是在经济还不发达的情况下迎来人口老龄化的。这就决定了我国的养老方模式应该是 ,从我国的国情和传统文化出发 ,在建立和完善社会保障制度的前提下 ,采取措施加强家庭的养老功能 ,积极推动以社区为中心的社会化养老服务事业 。

China will become an 'aged' country in this century. The aging of population will occur when China's economy is still not fully developed. This decides that the model to support the aging should be in line with the actual situation and its traditional culture in China. Based on establishing and improving the social security system, measures should be taken to strengthen the capability of every family to take care of the old, promote the community centered services for them and follow the practice to support the old with the efforts from both the families and the society.
