Africa`s Image:A New Perspective in African Human Research

本文的非洲影像主要是指非洲电影和西方以非洲大陆为镜头的电影。当电影本身被视为历史的部分档案时,影像就为我们提供了非洲人文研究的一个新视角,即可以通过影像来看非洲的历史和文化。本文通过介绍非洲电影的发展和特点、特别是自1955年以来的西非法语区电影的发展和成就,旨在让这些非洲电影来引导我们进入非洲的社会,了解其宗教、语言、习俗和价值观,等等。但由于电影与市场的密切联系,一些非洲国家的政治经济现状阻碍了非洲电影业的发展,进而阻碍了我们对非洲历史和文化的认知。

The article is based on the images of African history and culture via films,including African films and Western films'projecting on the continent.It focuses on films produced in Francophone of West Africa since 1955.When African films are regarded as archives of history,the images offer us a new perspective to study African humanities.Let African films guide us to enter in African societies,including its religions,languages,customs and values,etc.This is beyond current African studies in China only on political or economic situation and foreign relations as well.However,for the film is close to market,some political and economic circumstance in African countries obstacles the development of African films'industry,and hinders furthermore our cognition on African history and culture.
