Computational ecology is the interdisciplinary study of ecology, computational science and computer theory.Through the data collection processing and the computer technology union carries on the analysis and obtains the result. In order to further understand the global research hotspots of soil fungi and to explore the future development tendency, the metrological analysis on soil fungi that the literatures during 1998-2018,was carried out based on Web of Science data. The results show that the publication numbers is increasing from 1998 to 2018,which the USA had most publications and the second was China. The United States Department of Agriculture and the Chinese Academy of Sciences were the organization which published the most articles all over the world. The journal of Soil Biology and Biochemistry,Phytopathology and Mycorrhiza were the main journals in soil fungi studies;the research hotspots in this field mainly focused on biodiversity, heavy metal pollution, and ecological degradation.Zasloff Michael was the first author with the most cited articles.
