摘要
航空电线电缆烟密度试验主要用于考核电线电缆绝缘在规定的时间里产生烟雾的特性,是适航验证的重要考核项目之一。文中介绍烟密度试验的相关原理,并对目前常用的2个烟密度评定标准HB6577-1992《民机机舱内部非金属材料烟密度试验方法》和ASTM E 662《Standard Test Method for Specific Optical Density of Smoke Generated by Solid Materials》进行对比,两者的差异主要在试验模式及试验时间2个环节。文中分别以控制火焰的长度和控制燃气流量2种方式进行烟密度试验,控制火焰长度为5 mm时,烟密度较小,而控制丙烷流量时,烟密度较大。
Test method for smoke density of wires and cables provides a means for determining the smoke density generated by specimens of insulated materials under specific conditions.It is an important part of Airworthiness Certificate.This paper introduces the principle of the test method for smoke density,and makes a comparison of HB6577-1992 Test Method for Smoke Density of Solid Materials in the Cabin and ASTM E 662 Standard Test Method for Specific Optical Density of Smoke Generated by Solid Materials.The difference between the two test method is mainly in the experimental mode and the test time.In this paper,the smoke density test is carried out in two ways,controlling the length of the flame and controlling the gas flow.When the flame length is 5 mm,the smoke density is small.When the propane flow rate is controlled,the smoke density is large.
