Collected Annotations on History of Three Kingdoms is the most detailed note on History of Three Kingdoms. The writer of the Collection Mr. Lu Bi is expert in both literature and history, and is particularly learned in geography. Not only did he make annotations on Chen Shou's History of Three Kingdoms, he also made commentaries on Pei Songzhi's Notes on History of Three Kingdoms, leaving out redundancies, correcting mistakes, and bringing out one new opinion after another. Mr. Lu's Collection is the most valuable work on the study of History of Three Kingdoms by academic circles of the present time
