The history of economic development of all countries testifies that the role of small and medium enterprises in economic development cannot be neglected. Particularly, after China joining WTO the small and medium enterprises of China are confronted in many aspects with excellent opportunities of development. Both small and medium enterprises themselves and government agencies concerned have to hold fast this opportunity to take forceful measures for accelerating the development of small and medium enterprises to let them further enhance their role in the development of China's economy.
