An Initial Research on the Function Orientation of Xiangcheng District in Suzhou

撤县建区以后,苏州相城区功能重新定位成为今后苏州市健康发展的客观要求。本文在宏观与微观、内部环境与外部环境相结合的分析论证基础上,提出相城区未来主导职能的定位方向,即建立社会化物流中心、发展专业大市场和塑造苏州市工业副中心。

After its founding,the function of Xiangcheng District needs to be orientated for the further healthy development of Suzhou in the future. Based on analyzing macro and micro, internal and external background, the paper puts forward its main function orientation, which includes that setting up social distribution center, developing large specialised markets and forming a secondary industrial center of Suzhou.
