文章对李阳先生倡导的“疯狂英语”学习法和钟道隆先生提倡的“逆向英语”学习法提出了质疑。作者认为“疯狂英语”学习法是层次较浅学习英语的方法;而“逆向英语”学习法则是少、慢、差、费的方法,两者都会误人子弟。作者主张只有用科学的教学方法才能有效地学习好英语。

This paper challenges the learning methods of'Crazy English'advocated by Mr Li Yang and of 'Counter-direction English'advocated by Mr Zhong Daolong. The writer thinks the former method just remains the elementary level while the latter one is a less, slower, worse and time-wasting one. Both methods will lead the students astray. The writer proposes a scientific teaching and learning approach by which the students will have a good command of English.
