The Relationship Between China's Development and Three Circulations in the Historical Period Form Enlightenment to Industrial Revolution

50 0年的社会发展存在着如下的周期循环 :思想启蒙→政治革命→科学革命→技术革命→产业革命 ,至今已经历了三次循环 ,每次循环都把社会推向新的阶段 ,都发生思想中心、科学中心、技术中心、世界强国的转移。中国在前两次循环中落后了 ,在第三次循环后期开始加快现代化步伐 。

From the viewpoint of development within last 500 years, there have been such recycling phenomena in this period: enlightenment→ political revolution→ scientifical revolution→ technological revolution,→ industrial revolution→enlightenment. The world has experienced three times of such circulation. Each circulation pushed the society to a new era, with the world center of thought, science & technology, and powerful country transformed from one into another. China had been lagging behind in the first two circulations, but in the late period of the third circulation, China has quickened its modernization paces, in order to catch up with the developed countries.\;
